All the works in this series are on 26 by 18 inch panels. All the titles (Fade to Blonde, Straight Cut, The Wounded
and the Slain) come from hard crime novels. The proportion of boards is the same as a paperback's and this proportion,
1.4 to 1, is quite vertical - some might even say awkwardly so - and there in lies its appeal.
